Victoria Harris to leave Devon Funds
Prompting several team changes.
Prompting several team changes.
After more than two years working with the team at Devon Funds, Portfolio Manager Victoria Harris has decided it is time for her to leave the business and focus her efforts on her other commercial interest, The Curve.
This is a digital platform that she has established to support women to better understand the world of investing.
Harris will leave Devon in April and will be spending much of the next year in the UK growing her business there.
Devon managing director, Slade Robertson noted that: “Victoria has been a fantastic member of our team, but she goes with our support, and we are excited for her as she commits to this new direction in her career.
“Victoria worked on our Sustainability Fund and contributed heavily to Devon’s ESG program. Fortunately, we have successfully built strong layers of succession throughout our business and, as such, I have great confidence in the transition of responsibilities.
“Mark Brown, Devon’s chief investment officer, will take up the reins of managing the Sustainability Fund, alongside Patrick Washer, who has been promoted to the role of assistant portfolio manager for this strategy, together with his existing duties as an equity analyst.
“Alice Jones will also assist in this area as Devon’s ESG analyst. Alice has already been working with Victoria in this capacity.”
