The Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association Inc (VIA) has announced the appointment of Greg Hedgepeth as the new chair, succeeding Frank Willett, who has provided distinguished leadership to the association. VIA also reports a positive financial outcome for the fiscal year, underscoring its resilience and strategic management amid challenging market conditions.
The incoming chair brings a wealth of experience from his role as CEO at Turners Auto Retail Division and is expected to drive VIA’s mission forward with a strong vision for the future. “I am honoured to take on the role of chair at such a pivotal time for our industry,” Hedgepeth said. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation laid by my predecessor and steering VIA through the evolving landscape of the automotive sector.”
Outgoing chair Willett expressed his gratitude for the support he received during his tenure. “It has been a privilege to serve VIA and I am proud of what we have accomplished together. I am confident that, under Greg’s leadership, VIA will continue to thrive and effectively represent our members’ interests.” Willett will continue to serve as a board member, providing ongoing guidance and support.
Under the leadership of both Willett and the CEO Greig Epps, VIA has navigated the past year to a financial surplus, demonstrating robust management and a commitment to the financial health of the association. “The positive financial results reflect our proactive strategies and the collective effort of our members and board,” said Epps. “I am grateful for the strong support from Frank and the board, which has been instrumental in our achievements.”
