As country manager, Allan is responsible for key client experience and driving growth.

During the selection process, Allan’s experience stood out, with his solid track record in business development and company growth over the past two decades. His previous roles include chief customer officer of Treescape, GM of markets and growth at Spotless, GM of sales & marketing at OCS, head of business development at Turners & Growers, and MD of PMP Limited.

UMS is an Australian-owned facilities maintenance and management services provider and has operated in the New Zealand market since 2017. The New Zealand office has 160 staff and holds a key facilities management contract with Auckland Council.

As country manager, Allan is responsible for all operational delivery in New Zealand and increasing the local business.

UMS chief executive Jackson said the team had been looking forward to having Allan at the helm of the NZ operations.

“With his extensive background in the facilities management sector and his strategic mindset, Allan will uplift the performance of the New Zealand business. We look forward to him building on the high-quality, customer-centric service delivery that UMS is known for,” Demara said.

Allan started in the role at UMS on September 24.
