Two senior GM hires for Fisher Funds

Fisher Funds chief client officer Nilesh Mistry has announced two significant appointments to the Fisher Funds client team.
Mistry described the positions as pivotal to Fisher Funds’ focus of delivering for its clients: “We are delighted to welcome two exceptional individuals to the team who both bring extensive industry experience,” he said.
David Buell has been appointed general manager of growth. He was most recently head of institutional at SmartShares. Prior to that, he served as head of distribution at Quay Street Asset Management and has held senior roles at AMP Capital and Russell Investments.
Buell is an expert at fostering relationships across New Zealand’s institutional, wholesale, and retail investment sectors. His background in financial services is comprehensive, encompassing sales and marketing.
David Boyle has been appointed general manager of KiwiSaver. He is highly regarded in the industry, previously serving as head of sales and marketing at Mint. Prior to that, he was the general manager of investor education at the Commission for Financial Capability, (now the Retirement Commission) and has held senior positions at ANZ and ING. Boyle is deeply committed to improving New Zealanders’ understanding of retirement savings and KiwiSaver.
Both roles commence on September 9, 2024.
