Laurence Kubiak replaces interim chair Graeme Kirkpatrick.
Trustees Executors is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurence Kubiak as the new independent chair of its board, replacing interim chair Graeme Kirkpatrick, effective immediately.
Kubiak joined the TE board as an independent director in November 2019 as the company embarked on a growth and transformation strategy. An accomplished business executive with extensive global experience, Kubiak is currently chief executive of the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research, and has managed and built high-performing businesses in various sectors, including telecommunications, energy and technology.
Welcoming the appointment, Ryan Bessemer, TE’s chief executive and executive director said: “In his time on the board, Laurence has developed a deep knowledge of the business, as well as demonstrating great vision and passion for our clients. On behalf of the board I congratulate him on his appointment and look forward to his ongoing contribution as chair.”
Kirkpatrick will continue as a non-executive director on TE’s board.
