New Image Group has announced the appointment of Scott Sherriff as the group’s new managing director, marking a significant step in the company’s journey toward global growth and innovation.
Sherriff brings a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries, having held senior leadership roles at Aroa Biosurgery, Douglas Pharmaceuticals, Bayer, and Novartis. With more than 30 years of international experience spanning Oceania, Asia, Latin America, Europe, and the United States, Sherriff has built an impressive career in driving business success on a global scale.
A graduate of Victoria University of Wellington, with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Sherriff then earned an MBA from prestigious INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France.
Sherriff assumes the role of MD from Alan Stewart, who will continue to serve as director and deputy chair for New Image Group. In addition to leading the group’s day-to-day operations, Sherriff will progressively take over key responsibilities from executive chair and founder, Graeme Clegg.

Companies within New Image Group – NIG Nutritionals, New Image International, Nutrimetics, Food Waikato, and New Image Innovation – will report directly to Sherriff.
