Anne Urlwin’s retirement will take effect on February 28, 2023.

Tue, 06 Dec 2022

Summerset Director Anne Urlwin has announced her retirement from the board from 28 February, 2023.

Urlwin has been a director of Summerset since March 2014 and has chaired the company’s Audit Committee since April of this year.
Summerset board chair Mark Verbiest said Urlwin had made a significant contribution to Summerset during her time on the board.

“On behalf of the board I’d like to thank Anne for the experience and leadership she has provided in the almost nine years she has been with us. During her time on the board, Summerset has grown to be the second-largest retirement village in New Zealand, while more than doubling resident numbers, and we’ve moved into Australia.

“Anne’s ... has been actively involved in a large range of activities including governance over Summerset retail bond issuances, guidance to management in our Development and Construction Committee and, most recently, chair of our Audit Committee.

“We ... appreciate that she is taking on a new board position with Infratil and wishes to manage both her workload and any potential conflicts that may come with her new role.”

Urlwin’s retirement will take effect on February 28, 2023, following the announcement of Summerset’s F22 financial results announcement on February 24.
