Communication consultancy SenateSHJ has appointed Maree Wilson to general manager, Auckland, alongside new hires and key promotions to support an expanding portfolio of clients.

SenateSHJ managing partner Raphael Hilbron said the appointments reflected growing demand for high-quality strategic communications counsel across the private and public sectors.

“The rapid change and uncertainty of recent years has underscored the value of clear communications and effective reputation management. We’re thrilled to be expanding our team to meet this growing need.”

Maree Wilson, who has successfully led SenateSHJ’s New Zealand corporate practice since 2020, has been appointed as GM – Auckland. An internationally awarded executive leader in communications, she will lead the growth of the Auckland business, with focus on client delivery, talent, innovation, and commercial development, while continuing to provide organisations with senior strategic communications counsel.
