SeaDragon (NZX:SEA) has announced the appointment of Dr Craig Patch to the board of directors, with effect from the October 1, 2019.
Patch is a nutrition innovator with more than 20 years’ experience dedicated to improving nutrition, health and wellness. He is currently professor of dietetics and human nutrition at La Trobe University, Melbourne and director of Limos Therapeutics (a pharmaceutical spin-out).
Previously Patch led the commercial strategy for Clover Corporation.
His expertise is in the area of omega-3 fatty acids and branched chain fatty acids for improving neurological health outcomes.
He has a Bachelor of applied ccience, is a qualified dietitian, and has a MBA and a PhD in biomedical science.
At SeaDragon’s next meeting of shareholders, shareholders will be asked to formally elect Patch as a director; in the meantime he is appointed as a casual appointment.
For the purposes of NZX Main Board Listing Rule 2.6.1, the Board has determined that Craig Patch is an independent director.
