REINZ appoints experienced property manager.
The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand has appointed Joanne Rae as its head of property management. Ms Rae has worked in property management since 1990 in a variety of roles including owning an independent property management company, through to business development manager for an established franchise company. Ms Rae has been a member of REINZ since 1993 and became a REINZ accredited property manager in 2016.
Ms Rae will be responsible for leading on REINZ’s property management strategy, which will include keeping abreast of all the latest legislation (including the Residential Tenancies Act), keeping members informed of industry changes, and further developing REINZ’s offering to property management members.
She joins REINZ from Harcourts Charlton Realty where, as operations manager for property management she is responsible for developing and delivering an established property management service. Before that Ns Rae owned the independent property management company, Bay Area Property Management in Ponsonby from 1997 to 2009.
