From January, Michael Good will spearhead all divisions of RCR Infrastructure, including DataGuard and RCR Green.
He brings more than 30 years’ experience in senior leadership roles for Downer, Burnsco, Pacific Retail Group, and Farmers, with the past 12 years focused on the engineering and infrastructure sectors.
Since purchasing RCR Infrastructure in 2018 from its failing Australian parent company RCR Tomlinson, parent company Stonewood Group has taken the national facilities management company from strength to strength, more than doubling staff to 140. Clients now include Chorus, Woolworths, KiwiRail, Fonterra, and Westfield.
RCR’s facility solutions span HVAC systems, power protection equipment company Dataguard, and renewable energy division RCR Green, which recently delivered its first 7.5 MW solar farm in Ashburton capable of powering 2500 homes. The company is currently developing an innovative EV charging station concept with a view to establishing a national EV charging network.
RCR director John Chow said Good was being tasked, as the new managing director, with leading the company’s strategic initiatives to double revenue over the next four years, boosting operational efficiency and elevate client satisfaction.
“We are thrilled to have Michael join the RCR family,” Chow said. “His leadership skills and visionary approach are crucial as we pursue our ambitious growth targets. Michael’s dedication to excellence and strategic insight are in perfect alignment with our future aspirations.”
Commenting on his new role, Good said: “I am honoured to lead RCR Infrastructure at this critical juncture. I look forward to collaborating with our skilled team to push strategic boundaries, enhance operational efficiency, and surpass our clients’ expectations.”
