Rakon Limited (Rakon) has announced that Sinan Altug commenced his role as chief operating officer based in New Zealand on January 22, 2020.
As reported in July 2019 when Altug’s appointment was first announced, this position has been created to focus on leading, aligning and driving Rakon’s global operations to best meet customer demand and profitable growth.
Chief executive officer and managing director, Brent Robinson said he was looking forward “to working more closely with [Altug] as we position the company for the future.”
Altug has more than 22 years’ experience in frequency controlled products, with more than 17 years with Rakon, most recently as managing director of Rakon’s European businesses.
Over the next few months, Altug will divide himself between Rakon’s operations in New Zealand, Europe and India before relocating to New Zealand in April.
