ProCare, the country's largest co-operative of healthcare professionals, has appointed Steve Webber as chief financial officer.
Webber comes with a strong background in finance and senior leadership roles in both New Zealand and international organisations, most recently at Vodafone where he was leading the consumer mobile business as Head of Mobile for New Zealand.
“We are delighted to have Steve join the ProCare team at a time of change in the health sector” said chief executive Bindi Norwell. “Steve has significant experience in complex financial roles, transformation, customer centricity and digital and data which will be invaluable as we navigate through changes in the health sector.
Outgoing CFO Tony Wai will continue with ProCare as a consultant for an interim period, to progress the Elevate programme, supporting ProCare’s business owners of the future with succession ownership of General Practices.
