Nicole Buisson was appointed and two members leave.
Nicole Buisson has been appointed to join the New Zealand Growth Capital Partners (NZGCP) board.
Chair David Smol said that Buisson brings experience and skills in the development of technology companies and will be a valuable addition to the skills mix on the board.
Buisson is currently on The Icehouse board and is a senior executive at Open, an insurance fintech company.
Previously she worked with the government’s Small Business Council, working on access to capital streams and had roles with Xero and Vodafone.
Mel Firmin is retiring from the board in order to focus on other business priorities, and Guy Royal is also stepping down from NZGCP’s board in order to take up the role of managing partner of a proposed Māori investor-led venture capital fund, Māui Toa.
