Will Wright takes up the role of chief financial officer on July 5, 2021.
Summerset Group Holdings Ltd has announced the appointment of Will Wright to the role of chief financial officer, effective from July 5, 2021.
The appointment follows current CFO, Scott Scoullar, taking up the role of chief executive upon Julian Cook’s retirement at the end of March 2021.
Wright is the chief financial officer of the Building Products division at Fletcher Building. He has previously been Fletcher Building’s general manager strategy and portfolio, and CFO of the residential and land development division. Prior to his roles at Fletcher Building, Wright was an associate director at Bancorp.
He holds an MBA from the University of Auckland, a postgraduate diploma in business administration from the University of Auckland Business School and started his career in the New Zealand Army.
“I am very pleased to welcome Will to our executive team. He has a broad range of financial management, corporate finance, strategy, and people leadership experience and will play an important part in the future growth of Summerset,” Scoullar said.
