Ogilvy Network NZ has announced the appointment of Kelly-Ann Maxwell (Kam) as chief executive, bringing Ogilvy’s global offerings of advertising, brand and content, experience, PR and health together into the local market.
Since landing on New Zealand shores only three years ago from London, Kam has held the roles of Designworks CEO and then WPPNZ CEO, creative agencies.
Assembling the team, Kam has announced that newly appointed group creative director Chris Schofield will be partnering with promoted group creative director, Nina East.
Bringing further international experience into the Ogilvy Innovation team is Matt Oxley, who is joining as customer experience and innovation director.
Schofield joins Ogilvy from Shine; Oxley was previously from DDB Australia and before that, TribalWorldwide London.
Kam commented: “The time is right to reposition Ogilvy in the local market ... I will be focusing on developing successful partnerships with all of our clients, while obtaining a firm focus on excellence and creativity.
