With the new year comes a new cast at NBR. As most of us return to working mainly in the city office (both in Auckland and Wellington), the National Business Review and its owner-publishers Todd and Jackie Scott welcome two new faces, with the hire of Paul Brennan and Linda Braendler. There are a couple of journalists, yet to be announced, to further swell the ranks and deliver your business news.
Broadcaster/producer Paul Brennan has been in the industry for more than 40 years, spending time in music, talk and public radio along with 10 years in TV advertising, and later international aviation media/film documentary production and web video platform development.
Brennan was a top newsreader at RNZ for 15 years and a NZ Radio Awards finalist for Best Newsreader 2018 and 2019.
In 2017, Paul created the Bring Our Birds Home charitable trust with the aim of securing and reclaiming six historic Kiwi airliners to be eventually displayed in New Zealand.
Brennan says he is excited to have joined the NBR team in the Auckland office and looks forward to creating engaging video media content in the proud tradition of NBR’s 50 years of reporting on NZ business.
Linda Braendler
NBR office manager Linda Braendler joined NBR in February 2021, after arriving back in Auckland from an extended period overseas.
She brings 30 years of administration, accounts and customer service experience with local and overseas companies in Melbourne, London, Copenhagen, and Vilnius, Lithuania.
Braendler says Aotearoa is where her heart and soul thrive, though, and she is loving sharing the wonderful Kiwi lifestyle with her Australian husband and daughter.
Her role is to oversee all of the accounts, office administration and subscriber queries from our Auckland office.
