Ana Wight will join the board early next year.
Geo, a software-as-a-service job management platform for tradies, has appointed former Vend CEO Ana Wight as an independent director from January 1 2022.
She will also chair the company's audit and risk committee. Wight was formerly CEO of point of sale retail software company Vend until its recent sale.
In another move, independent director Rod Snodgress will take over as chair of the company from September 1. He's replacing Roger Sharp who is stepping down as chair but remaining on the board as a non-executive director.
Snodgrass, a former head of Spark Ventures, is also on the boards of Forsyth Barr, Metlifecare, and WilliamsWarn.
He said Geo was on a strong trajectory following the turnaround led by Sharp as chair and that he was excited to be taking on the chair role at a time when the business had re-platformed itself, endured through testing Covid times and was now looking to scale.
He said Wight, with whom who worked with some years ago at Spark, had strategic and operational skills and experience, including her successful leadership at Vend.
