Transport and logistics group, Move Logistics Group Ltd (NZX/ASX: MOV), has announced that Marc Blackburn will be its new GM for the warehousing division from February 3.

In that role, Blackburn will lead Move’s 300+ strong warehouse team, supporting more than 160 customers, and driving revenue and profit growth across the national warehousing operations.

Blackburn brings an impressive background in warehouse operations, logistics management, sales, and business transformation, having held key roles at respected companies such as Hall’s Group (most recently as GM sales), Linfox, Goodman Fielder, and The Warehouse Group.

Blackburn commented: “Having previously been a customer of Move, I was always impressed with the customer-centric focus of the team, the quality of the service, and the high standards I saw within the warehouses I visited. I am very excited to be joining the team and becoming part of the business that delighted me as a customer.

“Move has great network coverage across New Zealand, coupled with a strong brand identity that is built on a reputation for delivering excellent service and results. I am looking forward to supporting the business and the warehouse team to generate sustainable growth and delight our customers.”

Chief executive Paul Millward said: “Marc brings fresh ideas, broad expertise, and energy to the role and his leadership will be instrumental to grow our warehouse business and create value for our customers.”

Blackburn joins the leadership team alongside Jeff Vincent, who commenced as Move’s new GM freight and fuel in January 2025.
