Meridian Energy has today appointed two new members to its executive team.
Claire Shaw is appointed as general manager corporate affairs and sustainability; Jason Woolley is appointed as general counsel and company secretary.
Meridian’s chief executive Neal Barclay says both Shaw and Woolley have worked closely with the executive for some years within the business and bring a wealth of experience and leadership to the company in their new roles.
Shaw brings more than a decade’s sector experience as an external relations professional.
Woolley has been with Meridian for eight years, in both legal and regulatory roles.
“I’m delighted to be able to welcome both Claire and Jason to our leadership team knowing their expertise is well respected both inside and outside of our business,” Barclay said.
The appointments are effective immediately.
