Jennifer Kerr is the new independent people and culture adviser to the board.
MediaWorks has announced the appointment of Jennifer Kerr as an independent people and culture adviser to the board.
Kerr has extensive international experience as a senior executive in human resources, health and safety, and wellbeing. She was previously the general manager of people at Transpower, group director of HR and health and safety at Fonterra, and group manager of human resources for Mobil for all of Europe.
She also holds a number of independent directorships, including with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, New Zealand Rugby, Eke Panuku Development Ltd, Waipa Networks Ltd, the NZ Police Assurance and Risk Committee, and is the deputy chair for Callaghan Innovation.
Kerr is of Ngāti Tama and Ngāti Mutunga descent.
MediaWorks chief people officer Paula Williams said Kerr would work closely with the board and executive team in her independent adviser role.
“Jennifer brings great experience in driving cultural change. We’re extremely fortunate to have someone with her extensive global background in governance, people and culture, health and safety and diversity and inclusion.”
Kerr begins her role immediately.
