Consulting and advisory firm, MartinJenkins, has appointed Jenn Bestwick to its board as an independent director.
For 30 years, MartinJenkins has provided high-quality finance, economic, organisational design, and public policy consulting and advisory services across the private and public sector. Specialising in developing solutions to some of the country’s most challenging social and economic issues, MartinJenkins has a team of 55 people based in its Auckland and Wellington offices, and across the country.
MartinJenkins independent chair Dr David Prentice said the appointment of Queenstown-based Jenn Bestwick provided the board with depth of skills and experience and positioned the company for continued growth.
“Jenn has a fantastic track record in professional governance across the public and private sector and we are delighted to welcome her to the board,” he said.
“MartinJenkins continues to expand its offer across multiple sectors of the economy and we are very pleased to have the breadth of Jenn’s experience on the board for the next phase of MartinJenkins’ growth.”
Prentice thanked outgoing independent director, Sophia Gunn, for her service to MartinJenkins over two full terms.
“Sophia has been such an important part of the MartinJenkins board over the last six years. In this time, the company has diversified and expanded its service offering and expanded our client base and we are particularly grateful to Sophia for guiding the company through strategy review and an ownership transition that leaves us very well positioned for the future,” he said.
Bestwick started as an independent director of MartinJenkins on March 30.
