Marsden Maritime Holdings has appointed Rosie Mercer as chief executive.
Chair Murray Jagger said: “I am thrilled Mercer will be taking up this important role as we play our part in transforming Northland’s economy.”

She is an experienced executive manager and engineer with governance experience across the supply chain and port-related business. She understands well the inter-dependencies between local and central government and the private sector and the importance of partnering with mana whenua, iwi and hapū.
Mercer said she was “excited about the future potential of Marsden Maritime Holdings”.
Marsden Maritime Holdings leases commercial and industrial land to businesses and has shareholdings in a number of local companies including the port operator.
The company has been listed on the NZX (MMH) since 1992.
Mercer will start her new role on July 1.
