Law firm MinterEllisonRuddWatts has appointed two new partners with Jennifer Hambleton and Isaac Stewart stepping into the positions effective immediately.

MinterEllisonRuddWatts chief executive, Andrew Poole said the new appointments signal the firm’s ongoing growth and momentum in a challenging market.

Hambleton has been a senior associate at the company for six years. Working in the competition and consumer field, she specialises in merger clearances, enforcement actions, and disputes.

New MinterEllisonRuddWatts partner Issac Stewart.

Stewart joins MinterEllisonRuddWatts from Russell McVeagh where he was a senior associate in the corporate team. He advises clients on complex and strategically significant transactions, including takeovers, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets, with a particular emphasis on the energy sector.

Poole said, "both Hambleton and Stewart bring a commitment to our firm’s vision and values, a reputation for delivering outstanding results and a strong desire to help shape New Zealand’s future."
