Kordia’s board has appointed Neil Livingston, a current director, as interim group chief executive following the resignation of Kordia CEO Shaun Rendell. Livingston will assume the position on April 2, 2024.
Livingston is an executive and independent director with more than 30 years’ experience in the technology industry internationally. He has held a number of corporate officer roles at leading organisations including Ericsson, Vend, Foodcap, Endace, and Provenco Cadmus. Most recently he was CEO at Pingar.
Kordia chair Sophie Haslem said: “Neil is a seasoned executive with strong leadership and relationship building skills. His experience in the technology sector, and in high growth environments, will ensure he hits the ground running in the CEO role for Kordia.”
As a board member, Livingston brought a strong strategic focus on operational and sales excellence to Kordia and was the chair of the People, Wellbeing and Safety Committee. He said he was looking forward to applying his leadership experience in the interim CEO role.
“I’ve immensely enjoyed working with Kordia at a governance level and I am now excited to step in to lead the business through this time of transition. The business is ambitious and I am committed to ensuring we continue to execute on the strategy and enhance value for customers, staff, community, and shareholders.”
Haslem confirmed the board was in good hands with the six remaining directors.
Rendell, currently on medical leave, resigned effective April 1. Jason Fullerton-Smith, Kordia’s chief operating officer, is covering CEO duties until Livingston commences his appointment.
