Hectre strengthens board with two new directors

Hectre, an orchard management and precision farming solutions provider, has appointed Simona Turin and Andrew Garner to its board of directors.
Simona Turin’s vast experience in SaaS and her strategic leadership will significantly bolster Hectre’s mission to innovate and enhance agricultural technology. She held key leadership positions at companies such as AskNicely, where she was instrumental in powering world-class customer experiences. Her expertise in driving digital transformation and technology innovation is well-recognised in the industry.

In addition to her SaaS accomplishments, Turin has 15 years of experience on Wall Street, providing her with a unique perspective on financial markets and strategic growth. Her comprehensive understanding of both technology and finance makes her an exceptional addition to Hectre’s leadership team.

Andrew Garner joins the Hectre board from a long career in Europe, as a senior business leader, entrepreneur, and investor. His experience includes working with a UK VC fund backed by Warburg Pincus. During this time, he also led one of the fund’s Silicon Valley-based portfolio companies until a subsequent M&A.
“We are excited to have Andrew Garner join our board,” said Blomfield. “His extensive experience in Europe in M&A, building multiple businesses, and selling high-value services will support us as we mature as a business and expand our commercial activities.”
While mostly based in Denmark and the UK for the past 30 years, ex McKinsey & Company with extensive M&A experience, Garner has worked across all of Europe and has a deep understanding of how business is done across the many countries.

Hectre also acknowledges and thanked exiting director Alan Timms, who supported its growth since 2018.
