One of Auckland’s longest running and largest electrical services companies, Grammar Electrical, has announced that it has appointed Nick Pearson as the new general manager for its company group.

Grammar Electrical director Aaron Dempsey said he was thrilled that Pearson was joining the team as the company progresses its expansion plans into plumbing and roofing services for its commercial clients and residential communities.

“Grammar has provided electrical services for homes and businesses in Auckland for more than 70 years, and we have been seeking the right person with the skills and acumen to provide reliable, strategic and progressive thinking for us in this next phase of our growth,” Dempsey said.

“We greatly looking forward to his contribution as general manager for both Grammar Electrical and our recently acquired plumbing business, Water Works.”

Pearson takes the helm at the company group following seven years as GM of the New Zealand and Pacific Island business of British company Aggreko, a global leader in mobile, modular temporary power and temperature control systems.

A chartered accountant by trade, Pearson brings to the role his full 25 years’ experience in general and financial management in the accounting, financial services, property, healthcare, and industrial services sectors.

“My passion is developing high-performing teams that deliver exceptional customer experience, and I thrive on people, culture, and business transformation – so I am excited to be taking on the challenge of enhancing Grammar’s service delivery to customers,” Pearson said.
