Flint Wealth appoints CEO
Angela Vale joins the team on August 10.
Digital investment startup Flint Wealth has appointed Angela Vale as chief executive. Vale will join the fast-growing team on August 10.
The appointment is the latest milestone in Flint Wealth’s startup journey after a successful launch in January 2022.
A vocal advocate on issues of financial wellbeing and wealth, Vale brings nearly two decades of experience in digital financial services and business innovation. Most recently she served as the chief executive of Footprint, a startup in the digital estate planning and financial services sector.
Vale has a track record of leading teams through innovation and business growth. “I am a passionate believer in challenging the perceptions and misconceptions that hold Kiwis back from online investing, to help people take control of building their wealth,” she said.
“This role is a tremendous opportunity from both a personal and professional perspective.
“Many Kiwis are intrigued about online investment but don’t feel confident in their investment knowledge, and that’s where we come in.”
Flint Wealth chair Ryan Bessemer said: “Angela brings with her decades of experience in leading business growth and innovation and through her career has proven she has the diverse range of skills that position her well to running an agile startup like Flint Wealth.”
