Findex has announced David van Schaardenburg will lead the Findex New Zealand’s wealth management division nationally, where he is set to play a prominent role in implementing the provision of wealth management services alongside traditional accounting service offerings.
van Schaardenburg is one of the country’s most experienced professional investors, having previously served as the executive director of research company, IPAC New Zealand, as well as more recently head of NZ Funds private wealth, an advisory team. Over the past nine years, van Schaardenburg has also been an independent director of NZX-listed Stride Property Group.
Findex launched officially across New Zealand in April 2019, as the largest privately-owned financial advisory firm in Australia began to replace the well-known Crowe Horwath brand of accounting firms nationally following the 2015 take-over.
van Schaardenburg began his role of senior partner, wealth management, in August from the Findex Auckland office.
