Dentons in New Zealand continues to grow, with Willie Hamilton joining the firm’s Christchurch office as a partner on March 3, 2025.
Hamilton is a highly skilled litigator with extensive expertise in commercial disputes, liability insurance matters, and sports law. He has successfully represented clients in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and specialist tribunals. Hamilton advises major insurers on professional indemnity, public and general liability, and fidelity and fraud claims, offering strategic and commercially focused solutions.
Known as a pragmatic and commercial litigator, Hamilton works closely with clients to understand what matters to them. By building strong relationships and gaining this understanding early on, he is able to get to the heart of issues and provide practical and commercial solutions for clients.
