Southern Cross Health Society has announced the appointment of Kerry Boielle to the role of chief sales and marketing officer.
Boielle was previously the Society’s chief sales officer before stepping into the newly-expanded senior leadership position.
The appointment follows the resignation of chief marketing officer Chris Watney.
Boielle joined Southern Cross Health Society in May 2017, following senior leadership roles at Kiwibank, Baycorp and ASB Bank.
Her new position encompasses sales channels, business growth, strategic leadership, digital and mobile development, innovation within the Society’s key products, marketing strategy and customer experience.
Southern Cross Health Society chief executive Nick Astwick says Boielle’s breadth of experience, including working with financial services intermediaries, makes her an outstanding fit for the role. “Kerry is an insightful leader with an open and engaging style who is more than capable of managing both our sales and marketing functions.
“We have also taken the opportunity to align our sales and marketing and customer experience teams into one team under Kerry’s leadership.”
