eStar Online, Australasia’s largest eCommerce solutions provider, announced today that Eric Morris has joined its board as a non-executive director.
Morris is an apparel industry leader with more than 35 years of experience across retail, wholesale, licensing, marketing, and product development in Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Asia-Pacific.
Morris founded and led the PAS Group, a Melbourne-based apparel group of 14 brands for 16 years, a period that included an ASX-listing and subsequent merger with Brand Collective. Morris led the combined business as CEO of Brand Collective until mid-2023 when he elected to focus on non-executive and advisory roles. He continues to advise the board of Brand Collective.
Before the PAS Group, Morris was general manager of Private Brands at Myer and held director-level roles with Walt Disney Company and Reebok International.
“I am delighted to be part of the eStar family and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead; eStar has established itself as a key player in the digital commerce industry and I am eager to contribute to its growth and success,” Morris said.
“We believe that Eric’s diverse skill set, leadership capabilities, and retail strategic insights will be invaluable to eStar and Viare. His appointment comes at a crucial time for the company, and we are confident his expertise will significantly contribute to our continued success and growth, particularly in the Australian market,” eStar chair Al Monro said.
