Environmental Choice NZ appoints new CEO
Former World Vision International director joins environmental organisation.
Laura Gemmell has been appointed chief executive of Environmental Choice New Zealand.
Gemmell’s strong background in public engagement and reputation management will benefit the future of Environmental Choice New Zealand, said company chair Andy Hill.
Gemmell is excited to be joining the company. “Looking ahead, we’ll be developing new specifications and growing New Zealand’s only official eco-label,” she said.
Prior to World Vision, Gemmell spent time as a journalist at Radio New Zealand and NZME.
In March, Environmental Choice will be celebrating 30 years in operation.
