Fri, 02 Oct 2020

Dentons Kensington Swan has elected Hayden Wilson as its new chair.

Wilson took up the role on October 1 and he will also join Dentons' global board. He replaced David Campbell who has stepped down after six years of service, the last three as chair.

Dentons chief executive Charles Spillane said: “Hayden has an absolute commitment to client service and a deep understanding of our business. We know with his guidance, we are in a strong position to continue building the firm of the future.

“We would also like to thank David Campbell for his incredible contribution and commitment to setting the strategic direction of Dentons Kensington Swan during his tenure as chair. He, alongside Hayden, were key driving forces behind our decision to seek greater international connectedness to serve our clients by combining with Dentons earlier this year."

A senior and experienced litigator, Wilson previously led the firm’s litigation group and is recognised by Legal 500 as a leading litigation lawyer in New Zealand.

Wilson has been an active board member for three years. The new board, which also comprises Catriona Grover, Paul Buetow and Hayley Miller, has an equal representation of men and women.
