Katrina Van Houtte promoted to help lead construction team.
Dentons Kensington Swan has promoted Katrina Van Houtte to partner. Van Houtte will help lead and grow the firm’s five-partner construction and major projects team.
Van Houtte re-joined Dentons Kensington Swan in 2019 after several years working at Fletcher Building, where she advised on some of New Zealand’s largest construction and infrastructure projects. Van Houtte is a project specialist with expert knowledge of construction law, and also has skills in commercial litigation, public law, and insurance law.
Paul Buetow, partner and head of the construction and major projects team, says Van Houtte has been working with the firm’s real estate and commercial teams, and also mentors junior staff. “Katrina’s move to partnership signals our faith in her and helps secure the future of what is a market-leading team.”
