Cub Digital, a software development and data analytics company, has announced the appointment of Chris Dunlop as its new chief executive and Kiran Patel as its chair.
The appointments comes as the company looks to accelerate its growth both in New Zealand and internationally.

Prior to Dunlop founding Cub Digital, he worked as a business development manager at engineering consultancy Chester for five years. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce from Auckland University. With Dunlop at the helm, Cub Digital’s focus on data analytics and software development has never been more relevant as businesses look to leverage technology to drive growth and innovation.
Patel has extensive experience and expertise in providing advice to companies in the areas of strategy, transformation, business improvement, and mergers and acquisitions. He spent nine years working at McGrathNicol as a director in its restructuring and advisory team, providing advice to banks and boards. Prior to this, he spent four years at KPMG in its assurance practice. Patel is a Chartered Accountant, Associate Member of the Institute of Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland. He sits on a number of boards and has significant experience with FMCG, property and construction, horticulture, entertainment, and technology.
