Craigs welcomes Helen Bullick

Helen Bullick will re-join the company to lead the specialised wealth advisory team.

Mon, 23 Aug 2021

Craigs Investment Partners has announced that Helen Bullick is re-joining the company to lead the specialised wealth advisory team in October 2021.

Coming from Fonterra as a mergers and acquisitions manager, Bullick ran the sale of Tip Top in 2019 and provided commercial leadership across strategic projects in functional nutrition, sales disruption and global operations. Prior to this, Bullick’s experience was in commercial, strategic and business development roles with Orion Health and investment banking where she worked with both Jarden and Craigs Investment Partners.

Craigs’ head of private wealth and markets Jeremy Williamson said: “Helen’s strong commercial acumen and collaborative leadership approach makes her the perfect fit for leading a team of this nature. We are excited to welcome Helen back on board, to further grow this key part of the business.”

Williamson explained that Bullick’s hire comes at a time Craigs is looking to further broaden its service offering to large scale clients, with a focus on the charitable, philanthropic, and public body sectors. “With over $26 billion funds under management, Craigs has a wealth of experience in managing these types of large mandates ... The growth of this team reflects the opportunity we see in this area and the further focus we want to give it.”

The charitable and philanthropic sectors are closely aligned with Craigs’ values, being a founding principal sponsor of the Community of Foundations of New Zealand, which was established in 2018. Craigs also became a national partner of Hospice New Zealand in 2008 and enjoy an ongoing partnership at both a national and local level.

Of working with Craigs, Bullick said: “I am delighted to be returning to one of the country’s largest investment firms. Craigs has exciting plans for the future, a talented team and a great culture. By increasing our focus on charitable and philanthropic ventures I’m confident we will not only grow wealth for our clients but also deliver on their broader objectives.”
