Consumer Health Products New Zealand (CHPNZ) has appointed two industry leaders to its leadership.
Bayer NZ Consumer Health country head Abs Saadi is the new chair and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health NZ country director Marcus Thieme is deputy chair.
Saadi and the board will help CHPNZ executive director Scott Milne drive industry initiatives to help consumers look after their health through responsible healthcare. CHPNZ’s work includes submissions on the Therapeutic Products Bill, which is before Parliament currently, and working with Medsafe, which oversees the regulation of New Zealand’s medicines and medical devices.
