Cisco has appointed a new country manager in New Zealand, effective immediately – Jessica McFadden. McFadden takes over the leadership role in New Zealand after 16 years at Cisco, most recently leading Cisco’s New Zealand Channel and Service Provider Business.

She is well known in the Australia and New Zealand technology community, having worked across it over the past 25 years, and brings significant experience leading large-scale technology transformation projects for customers and partners.

As the New Zealand country manager, McFadden’s responsibility is to support the company’s technology transformation across the breadth of its portfolio.  She will lead the team, based out of Auckland.

“I’m humbled to take on the leadership of Cisco New Zealand, …[and] to lead the Cisco New Zealand team.  We are a close-knit group who are laser focused on strategic outcomes for customers and partners.

“New Zealand customers and partners are leaders in innovation and often flexible to adopt new technologies in a way that benefits all New Zealanders. I am inspired by the way NZ has a unique ability to influence global technology direction.”

McFadden also worked in Cisco Australia as part of the service provider business. In this role she supported key Cisco customers with their internal infrastructure requirements, and sales strategy, and execution.

McFadden replaces Garrett Heraty, who is returning to the US after leading the New Zealand business for two years, to take up a senior leadership role in Cisco’s global go-to market team for the Enterprise Networking portfolio. Heraty will join the team of Brink Sanders, vice-president of global networking experience.
