Bobux announces new CEO
Monica Yianakis joins New Zealand footwear company.
Monica Yianakis has been appointed CEO of child footwear company Bobux.
Yianakis previously held the roles of strategic innovation director and retail director for beverage company Lion.
Prior to Lion, Yianakis held senior roles at a range of food and beverage companies including Frucor, Nestle, and Danone.
Yianakis said she was enticed by the challenge of developing Bobux into a family household name, worldwide.
Bobux board chair Paul Connell said the company was thrilled to have Yianakis take Bobux into its next phase.
Chris Bennett co-founded the company with his former wife Colleen and it remains family-owned.
