Wall Street hits near-record day after China's 'goodwill'

The US and China prepare for more trade talks.

The S&P 500 danced near an all-time high overnight as markets digested developments in the US/China trade negotiations and promises of money printing in Europe.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 140 higher or 0.5%. The S&P 500 gained 0.6% while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.7%.
