Wall St jumps as Fed holds interest rate

Dow Jones moves out of the red as Fed is upbeat on US economy.

Blue-chip stocks on Wall Street spiked after the US Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged after the two-day monetary policy meeting.

Until the announcement, the Dow Jones Industrial Average had lagged the other broader indexes, pulled down by Chevron and Home Depot.
