Vector sells half of metering business for $1.7b

Energy lines company Vector is to sell half of its metering business to Queensland government owned QIC Private Capital for $1.74 billion.

The conditional deal, which is supported by Vector’s 75% shareholder Entrust, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2023.
