Merger & acquisition activity involving New Zealand company targets continued to boom in the fourth quarter of 2021, bringing full 2021 year of deal value to $20.4 billion (US$13.8b) over 124 transactions, according to Mergermarket data quoted by law firm Simpson Grierson.

Deal volume was up 55%
