US stocks slump as Trump reimposes tariffs

Stocks on Wall Street fell as President Donald Trump waded back into trade issues and the US manufacturing sector posted a weaker than expected result.

Despite the market pullback, stocks are still up by double-digit percentages in 2019 and headed for their best year since 2013.
