Tiwai Point brims with green hydrogen potential

NZ Hydrogen Association sees large-scale production plant taking over in three to five years.

With Rio Tinto looking to leave Tiwai Point in 2021, a new large-scale plant could take over the smelter’s site and power supply in three to five years and produce green hydrogen for domestic and overseas markets.
