Tamarind creditor claims hit $364m

Little chance of recovery without money to fund more drilling, administrators say.

Creditors’ claims against insolvent oil company Tamarind Taranaki and its sister companies now total $US239.5 million ($364m), the bulk of them unsecured.

The administrators’ report prepared for a watershed meeting next Thursday makes grim reading for those owed money, with realisable assets
