NZ Super Fund acquires 4.99% of Euroclear

Deal for the Brussels-based company has now settled for an undisclosed sum.

The Super Fund is now Euroclear’s fifth-largest shareholder.

The New Zealand Super Fund has snapped up a 4.99% stake in Brussels-based financial markets infrastructure provider Euroclear.

That company has about €36 trillion of assets under its watch and more than €1 quadrillion a year of securities transactions.
