Specialist lenders optimistic about 2025 economic recovery

KPMG’s latest pulse of finance lenders is out, showing profit and margin pressure in a tough economy.

The net interest margin fell 24 basis points from 6.57% to 6.33%, according to KPMG.

That latest pulse of finance lenders throws weight behind an economy recovery in 2025, supported by further interest rate cuts and inflation under control.

KPMG has released its latest Financial Institutions Performance Survey today, for ‘specialist lenders’ such as finance companies.
