Shareholder attendance at annual meetings peaked in 2017 and has dropped off since and now there's a push for hybrid meetings to attract attendees remotely.
Data from corporate meeting co-ordinator Computershare shows New Zealand investor attendance peaked at an all-time high of 2.1% in 2017,
